It looks like Jennie was the only person working there as she was cleaning, checking people in and out but this did not effect how she dealt with customers. She was so pleasant. The owners need to recognise this if they don't already.

There’s long stay parking a road back and a few spots at the actual lodge. It’s a short walk from the town and the beach’s. They were also massively helpful when we realised we screwed up our booking and managed to move some bits around and save us some money.

The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very dated and definitely needs modernising. I was very disappointed with my room, i booked on booking.com and was under the assumption that i had a room with a bathroom this did not happen all we had in the room was two beds and a wardrobe and we had to use a communal bathroom. We spoke to the receptionist about it and she said there was nothing she could do. Feel kind of ripped off as a few more friends stayed here and they had their own bathrooms even though i paid the most out of us all. When you want to get ready or need to go to toilet its rather annoying having to walk down the corridor to do so. If i would of known this I definitely wouldn’t of stayed here. In the main lobby area its quite small but has a reasonably priced bar and a few chairs to sit on, which is great to get the night started. I definitely would say this is not a family hotel its more for groups of lads or girls going for the night life. Over all I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless i was guaranteed a room with its own bathroom.

Taking nothing away from the staff ( especially the lady from Birmingham) who tried to do their best , but this is woefully inadequate for family use from a cleanliness and facilities perspective.

Building needs updating and investment soon to bring up to adequate standards.

Possibly would suit hardened backpackers or group of lads who just need a place to sleep at night.

Needless to say, will not be returning.
