I would recommend this place to anyone, the staff are great and were really helpful.
If you go you must try the Açai bowl for breakfast, it was the best breakfast I’d ever had.

  I came to shore surf lodge with couple of friends in August. The hotel is situated in a very good place only a 10 minute walk to the town centre... read more and bars and clubs. The receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very dated and definitely needs modernising. I was very disappointed with my room, i booked on booking.com and was under the assumption that i had a room with a bathroom this did not happen all we had in the room was two beds and a wardrobe and we had to use a communal bathroom. We spoke to the receptionist about it and she said there was nothing she could do. Feel kind of ripped off as a few more friends stayed here and they had their own bathrooms even though i paid the most out of us all. When you want to get ready or need to go to toilet its rather annoying having to walk down the corridor to do so. If i would of known this I definitely wouldn’t of stayed here. In the main lobby area its quite small but has a reasonably priced bar and a few chairs to sit on, which is great to get the night started. I definitely would say this is not a family hotel its more for groups of lads or girls going for the night life. Over all I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless i was guaranteed a room with its own bathroom.

Having read the reviews I was ready for something more like a hostel but could see it had been refurbished and was family friendly. This is certainly true but compared to my b&b that cost roughly the same, I don’t think you’re getting good value for money here. We had the penthouse which has a stunning view and had clearly been done up recently. When you walk in you have a double bed- about 6 ft high. Go up some stairs to the main room and you have another double bed that’s about 3.5ft high and a kitchen area- with a hot tub and shower in it. There is a small separate toilet but that is the only place for any privacy. This is not a great room for sharing if you’re not exactly familiar with your roomie! It’s all been done to a high finish and looks lovely but just doesn’t feel right and needs a seating area of something instead of a great big kitchen area.
