  Be aware of this establishment- advertised as hotel , but in effect is a glorified hostel , ill -converted into what seems like a haphazard collection of rooms more akin... read more to temporary accommodation.

Taking nothing away from the staff ( especially the lady from Birmingham) who tried to do their best , but this is woefully inadequate for family use from a cleanliness and facilities perspective.

Building needs updating and investment soon to bring up to adequate standards.

Possibly would suit hardened backpackers or group of lads who just need a place to sleep at night.

Needless to say, will not be returning.

That said the staff couldn't be nicer, totally made our stay with their non-stop kindness, and the food in the restaurant is exceptional. We are there every night because most of the rest of yhe food in Newquay is diabolical. Goat Curry with rice and peas,lamb and beef burgers, pizza, jerk chicken wings all just wonderful.
