I came here with 2 other members of my... read more family as we wanted a final last trip somewhere as the summer had almost finished. The place looked lovely online, but after 4 long hours of driving, our room was so tiny considering we payed £162 for one night. It was supposed to be a single bed with a bunk bed but it was only one bunk bed. The room was a small box with only a bed and sink inside, like some sort of prison. We basically got catfished by this place as they made it out to be nice, medium size rooms. It was freezing too as the window wouldn’t shut. The staff were awkward and unfriendly. It said free parking on the website yet we paid £9 a day. There was no breakfast service “due to COVID” which was absolutely ridiculous. The toilet was smelly and the shower didn’t even work and was covered in hair and also pubic hair. Absolutely filthy. I would not recommend staying here for anyone, even if it’s only one night. Find somewhere with basic cleanliness and expectations to spend your money on. Never coming back here again.

There’s long stay parking a road back and a few spots at the actual lodge. It’s a short walk from the town and the beach’s. They were also massively helpful when we realised we screwed up our booking and managed to move some bits around and save us some money.

  Booked online because the lodge looked nice on booking.com . when we checked in for our four night stay the room was tiny with no wardrobe space to put our... read more clothes we had to live out the suitcase the bathroom was minging with hair in the shower and no food was on in the lodge which online it shows that they do food we couldn't get a table in Newquay for food so we lived from take outs our bath towels didn't get changed once in the four night stay our room was on the front it was so noisey and I had two sleepless nights from the hotel alarm going off and road works we was offered a refund for the night we was stood outside for a hour till one in the morning because of the fire alarm to then be told we would only get half a refund also 9 pound a day parking on the back no parking available I wouldn't stay at this lodge again its a honest review and i am really not happy with the 6 hour drive down to then have a bad stay
